Rituals for Reconnection | Meet Anya Caro of Anya’s Apothecary + Sprockett Rockett Film

The first time Anya came to a Conscious Collaborations meetup, I could feel their creative energy radiating from across the room. You know that feeling when someone has so many ideas and curiosities that you can feel the energy of the room charge up, and you just want to hear more? That’s what it’s like to be in Anya’s presence. Talking with them inspires you and reignites your own creative fire.

Through their personal practice, Anya has developed a deep knowledge of Tarot, astrology, and herbalism. It didn’t take long after becoming part of Comet Collective for their creativity to bloom into an experience they could lead.

Last year, Anya created Astro Artistry, where they introduced us to the core elements of our personalized birth charts and guided us in creating artistic representations of them. We learned more about ourselves while using our creativity in a completely new way, which is exactly what Anya hopes to help others do through their work.

Anya embodies what makes Comet Collective so special. When you surround yourself with open-minded, curious, and creative humans who inspire and encourage you, you naturally begin to grow together.

We are so grateful for the grounded, creative energy Anya brings to our community. Enjoy their Q+A below, and if something they share sparks something in you, reach out and connect with them!

“Whether it’s lighting a candle during a ritual, using a salve as a moment of self-care, or choosing a product that feels connected to a season, intention, or emotion, I want each piece to feel like it carries a story and invites people to create their own.”

What is the work you feel most called to offer right now, and what drew you to it?

I am drawn to my Astrological, Tarot and Herbalism work currently. Being connected to the universe and finding ways to learn more about myself or help others through messages embedded within us is in season for me right now. Astrology has guided me in so many ways and is a tool I use to communicate with myself. I approached astrology with curiosity and a healthy skepticism, I told myself I would explore it until it no longer resonated, and almost a decade later it continues to be a meaningful tool for self-reflection and understanding. In different points of my life I always come back to learning and creating, I often always want to help others learn the skills too so they can use it in their life and find the beneficial uses such as I did.

Who do you feel most aligned to support, and what are they currently navigating or seeking?

I am aligned to support anyone seeking guidance in how to use these tools to reach themselves. The universe can give messages before we realize what the message is for or can give them retroactively to allow another perspective to learn for the next encounter. Those willing to be open and share themselves will be the most benefited by this offering. Those who seek my support may need support in decoding the ideas already within themselves and how to organize these thoughts and ideas. My herbalism work is rooted in creating accessible moments of care and connection with nature, and I hope everyone can find a product that brings them comfort, grounding, or a sense of ritual.

How do you support people through that? What does your work actually look or feel like in practice?

I support people by creating small moments of intention and connection in their everyday lives. Through handmade herbal goods, ritual items, and celestial-inspired creations, I hope to give people space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and bring a little more magic and mindfulness into their routines. The experience of my work is meant to feel grounding, nurturing, and personal, but accessible to anyone. Whether it’s lighting a candle during a ritual, using a salve as a moment of self-care, or choosing a product that feels connected to a season, intention, or emotion, I want each piece to feel like it carries a story and invites people to create their own.

What shifts or transformations have you witnessed in the people you work with?

I’ve noticed people often leave feeling more enlightened, empowered, and connected to themselves. Sometimes offering another perspective or a new way of looking at a situation can create space for clarity and understanding. These tools can help people step outside of the patterns or limitations they may feel stuck within and reconnect with their own intuition, confidence, and ability to move forward.

“These tools can help us slow down, look at our experiences from another perspective, and discover insights that may have already been within us.”

What makes your approach or perspective unique?

The most important part of my work is creating a space where people feel encouraged to explore, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. I approach astrology, tarot, and herbalism as tools for curiosity and self-awareness rather than something that defines who we are or what our future has to be. I believe these practices can offer new perspectives, inspire reflection, and help us understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape our lives. With my handmade goods, I try to bring that same intention into physical form. Each candle, salve, or ritual item is created to invite a moment of pause, a reminder to slow down, connect with yourself, and find meaning in the small everyday moments. Everything I do is a way for me to be creative and make something with my hands. I am always evolving my craft, exploring new practices, and finding new ways to create. Over the years, I’ve been encouraged to share my gifts, and my community has expressed interest in the things I create. When I feel called to share, I feel honored to offer those creations and experiences to others. In my own astrological practice, I’ve reflected on a placement in my chart called a Yod, or “Finger of Fate,” with my Moon in Aries as the focal point. The way I personally interpret this is that part of my path is to grow, find courage, and help others by sharing what I learn and create. Through this, I continue to heal, evolve, and understand myself more deeply.

What is something you wish more people understood or felt more open to when it comes to this kind of work?

I wish more people felt open to exploring these practices without feeling like they have to fully understand or believe in everything right away. Astrology, tarot, and herbalism can be approached with curiosity and used as tools for reflection, creativity, and connection. I think sometimes people assume these practices are about finding a fixed answer, when I believe they can be much more about asking better questions and learning to listen to yourself. These tools can help us slow down, look at our experiences from another perspective, and discover insights that may have already been within us.

What’s been bringing you back to yourself lately, or lighting you up outside of your work?

Lately, I’ve been finding a lot of joy in creating, learning, and reconnecting with the simple things that inspire me. Photography, nature, experimenting with new herbal creations, and spending time with the people and animals I love have all been grounding for me. I’ve always found myself returning to creativity in different seasons of my life. Whether it’s through art, writing, learning a new skill, or making something with my hands, creating has always been a way for me to understand myself and connect with the world around me.

Where can people connect with you or step into your world right now?

People can step into my world through Anya’s Apothecary, where I share my handmade herbal goods, ritual creations, and celestial-inspired offerings. I share behind-the-scenes creations, upcoming offerings, and ways to connect with astrology, herbalism, and intentional living through my social media. I’m excited to continue building a space where people can explore, create, and reconnect with themselves through these practices.
