Clear The Pathway | Meet Shannon of Shannon Norris Coaching

Shannon (a.k.a my mother!) has spent most of her life in healthcare helping people physically heal and repair from injuries. For as long as I can remember, she has always loved working with and helping people (she especially has loved working with her elderly patients, which tells you about her kind heart).

Through her time helping to heal the body, she naturally has helped people heal their minds with her encouragement, positivity, and support. This new pathway working with Psych-K® and HeartMath® as tools is just another way of her supporting people in feeling their best. This time, not just physically but focused on helping mentally heal and free people from themselves. Shannon is a beautifully kind, caring, curious person who will support you whole-heartedly in uncovering the limiting beliefs that you hold back from living a resilient, balanced and more joyful life.

We are so grateful to have Shannon in the Collective! Read the Q+A below to get to know Shannon and her new line of work.

“the body reacts by relaxing and slowing down, and… people report feeling calm and owning their happiness”

What is the work you feel most called to offer right now, and what drew you to it?

The work I feel most called to offer right now is HeartMath® and Psych-K®. I was drawn to these methods because they encourage resilience and overcoming limiting beliefs we all have that hold us back.

Who do you feel most aligned to support, and what are they currently navigating or seeking?

Humanity! I focus on the one who is in front of me. I focus on those curious about emotions and feelings they intellectually know they want to change, but find themselves falling back into the same patterns, and people interested in personal resilience.

How do you support people through that? What does your work actually look or feel like in practice?

We meet one-on-one for thoughtful questions and technique training. Specifically, Psych-K® requires muscle testing, and this includes trust from the client. The series is about 6–7 sessions for HeartMath® and 4–6 for Psych-K®. Sessions last between 60–90 minutes and are spread out over multiple weeks.

What shifts or transformations have you witnessed in the people you work with?

I have witnessed dramatic shifts in mindset almost immediately. The body reacts by relaxing and slowing down, and many times, people report feeling calm and owning their happiness. People do not always think to do this on an ongoing basis and use it as their superpower.

“affect{s} health, longevity, purpose, sleep, decision-making, and opening up to what the universe has ready for you right now”

What makes your approach or perspective unique?

It is not just about talking about problems and being confrontational about them. These are actionable steps to take, and it is up to the individual to really implement these into their daily lives while I provide accountability for the implementation. At the end of the day, it is up to the individual to make the changes needed, and I am here to support that self-empowering first step. Trust is key.

What is something you wish more people understood or felt more open to when it comes to this kind of work?

I wish more people understood that, as simple as it is, it really works. This will affect health, longevity, purpose, sleep, decision-making, and opening up to what the universe has ready for you right now. Let's remove the blocks and clear the pathway now.

What’s a small ritual or practice you’ve been loving lately?
